About “the3000”

Against the advice of his Generals, President Obama is advancing a reckless proposal to leave 3000 Soldiers in Iraq, following the withdrawal of our main combat forces on December 31. 2011.   Those of us who support our troops have written an open letter to Obama, voicing our opposition to his proposal.

The sole purpose of this website is to gather support for our open letter to President Obama.

Contact every blogger, patriot group and veterans group that you know, and ask them to read the letter and to consider signing on to it.

We will be sending this letter out to the media at the end of October.
